Multiple Sclerosis

Having someone with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in the family naturally increases one's interest in this mysterious disease. Here you can find some information about interesting topics that I've come across over the years.

  • CCSVI, or Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency.
This is a theory about the possibility of a link between impaired flow of blood through the brain and MS. I wrote this a number of years ago, when it was still harder to find information about this. Undoubtedly you can now find a great number of other sites about this subject.
  • Helminthic therapy
This is a peculiar treatment based on the hygiene hypothesis, or even the old friends hypothesis.
  • The Monte Diet
This diet is about avoiding food sources containing methanol.
  • The gut connection
Some thoughts about the relationship with what goes on in the gut.
