As well the design tool as the live-view require the installation of Microsoft dotnet 3.5 and agsXMPP.
- Jabber Server: Gummy-live requires a jabber server. In order to gain optimal performance, a local jabber server is preferred. The current implementation of Gummy-live has been tested with the openfire jabber server.
- Jabber Accounts: Both the live-view and design workspace need to have a jabber account which are members of their respective contact lists. Most jabber servers allow to create user accounts through an administrator menu.
- Design Environment: An alpha version of the design environment can be downloaded here. After starting gummy.exe, the new design wizard has to be choosen. This wizard allows to configure the jabber account of the design tool.
- Live View: An alpha version of the live-view can be downloaded here. The live-view can be started by running Uiml.net-desktop.exe. A Jabber account can be configured by modifying the liveview.settings file (in the root directory).
